What I am working on

My current main project is a collaboration with Tom Silver on exploring the role of coding agents for physical reasoning and planning. Our codebase is here if you are interested in following. We are in the middle of running experiments and I’m very excited about what we’re seeing!

For the next two weeks I will be on vacation and/or working remotely, so I will be less available, but I’m thankful to have an amazing team of people helping out with the project now that we’re getting closer to the end.

Reading and free time

I am currently reading The Laws of Thought by another Princeton Tom, Tom Griffiths. There is also an excellent podcast, The Cognition Project, which documents all the interviews that Tom has done with cognitive scientists and AI researchers for the book. I am also re-playing through some older N64 and GBA on the Switch, I really like their classics selection.

Perhaps some day when I find some more free time I will get around to setting up a page on the website to share my favorite books and games.

I’m also excited to watch the Sixers next year, now that we got LeBron! Very unexpected turn of events after last season.
